M4U 8 wireless Headphones

“I never found a track that these headphones couldn’t handle very well,” says writer Scott Schumer in his review of the PSB M4U 8 Active Noise Cancelling headphone. As the first wireless noise-cancelling headphone from PSB Speakers, the M4U 8 is powered by Qualcomm aptX™ HD for 24-bit music quality over a Bluetooth connection and includes call-answer controls and NFC pairing. The M4U 8 also features PSB’s innovative RoomFeel™ technology, which Schumer says results in “a warmer, richer, and yet natural sonic signature without any over-emphasis anywhere across the frequency curve.”

When it came time to test the M4U 8, Schumer used a wide variety of sources, ranging from action movies to country music. “From explosions to dialogue, strings to distorted guitar, faithful reproduction was natural and effortless.”

Having compared the M4U 8 to other popular noise-cancelling headphones including the Sennheiser PXC 550 and Bose QuietComfort 35, Schumer concludes that the M4U 8 easily dethrones both headphones. “I can fully recommend these for any application.”
