User Review: M4U 2 Headphones - Not worth the money and break very easliy

September 25, 2013

Products: M4U 2 Headphones

As for the sound, they were pretty good, but I cant say they are the best. Tried a lot of different models out while these were "in the shop" and found that you can easily get the same quality for less than 1/2 the price. A huge con, aside from the issues below - no volume control on the mic. Also was not a fan of the 'bent' headphone jack design. Would continuously get caught on the edge of pockets and pop the plug out of my phone. 1st pair we had for a couple weeks - the mic and remote stopped working when in noise canceling and active mode. We had to send the headphones back under warranty to receive a replacement pair. Not the most ideal process. 2nd pair we had for less than a week - the right headphone became loose and with every step, would create a 'click' from plastic on plastic hitting in the headphones. The left headphone seemed to have dampening to keep this from happening. After experiencing both issues in such a short frame of time and not wanting to have to keep going through this every couple of weeks, we decided that it just wasn't worth it. For $400, I expected much much more. We were lucky enough to convince the vendor that sold them to us to take them back for a full refund.
