In his review of PSB’s M4U 2 Active Noise Cancelling Headphones, writer Jason Donnelly walks through the headphone’s three unique listening modes. Starting with Passive Mode, Donnelly says the M4U 2 has “decent bass, and acceptable detail across the board.” Donnelly acknowledged the increase in detail and bass when switching to Active Mode and said “even the soundstage gets larger.” But it’s the Active Noise Cancelling Mode that really lit up Donnelly’s listening session. “These are the perfect office/travel headphones,” says Donnelly praising the M4U 2’s ability to block out noise whether you’re on the go or at home.
Donnelly concludes his review by saying the M4U 2 is “possibly my favourite pair on the list for the pure fun factor. The second I flipped over the switch to Active/Noise cancelling, I couldn’t get the smile off my face.”
