As “sub/satellite” speaker packages evolved as a popular choice for home theaters, PSB engineers worked to create an economic and effective solution. The Alpha LR1 can be wall-mounted, placed on stands or fit into most entertainment centers to deliver maximum performance while still remaining aesthetically pleasing. The true 2-way design employs a single 3.5-inch mid-woofer paired with a single .75-inch ferrofluid-cooled tweeter. The result is an extremely tight sound with excellent imaging characteristics.

They are little giants...Posted onI picked these up on the second-hand market, and they are brilliant. Little, you bet, sounds much bigger, again, yes. I have a small apartment in Southeast Asia and need high-quality, compact speakers. These are the ones for me... excellent all-around sound spectrum...crisp highs, outstanding midrange, and surprisingly good low end. Color me happy
