The Imagine XBs bring a new level of performance to their price range while borrowing many design innovations from our multiple award-winning Imagine models. This two-way speaker system features a5¼” (133mm) woofer and a 1″ (25mm) titanium dome tweeter, and the critically tuned cabinet employs a rear-facing port for high sensitivity and extended bass response.

Leans slightly warm, metal dome tweeter does not have any of the undesirable characteristics they are known for. Not bright but more revealing on top than soft dome tweeters in similar price range. Excels at Electronic music but I find it a good all-arounder. The low end is fabulous. These things slam! Would work in rooms larger than one would imagine. They don't look like much but they sound remarkable! Highly recommended

I have a Imagine XB and using them with my smsl dac and a pionner amp lacks of presence, brightness and live sensation. The speakers had a bad response in the high frequencies, when you hear a rock song the hi hats sound poor and like plastic. The medium freqs, sound like the speaker flat. I added to my connections a 31 band eq per channel to correct a little. But is incredible for the highs you have to rise the slider of the 12.5kHz at least 6 to 8 dbs to start hearing the sound due the bad response of the imagine xb.
