CHRIS GEHRINGER
Grammy-nominated, American mastering engineer Chris Gehringer was born in Teaneck, New Jersey and raised in Bergen County. Chris attended the Institute of Audio Research and landed his first music industry job at Greene Street Recording. From there, he went on to work as a cutting assistant at Trutone Records.
In 1985, Gehringer joined Frankford-Wayne Mastering, then moved to the Hit Factory in 1988 where he spent twelve years. During his time there, he mastered a number of landmark releases in rap and hip-hop, including records by Mobb Deep, Naughty by Nature, Wu Tang Clan and PM Dawn.
In 2000, Chris joined Sterling Sound as a senior mastering engineer and became a partner of the company in 2016. Over the span of his notable career, Gehringer has left his mark on an impressive selection of records by Rosalía, Dua Lipa , Glass Animals, BTS, Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Drake, Avril Lavigne, Machine Gun Kelly, Lorde, Bastille, OneRepublic, Muse, Kelly Clarkson, andv many more!

TIMOTHY CHOOI
Powerful and finely nuanced interpretations, sumptuous sonorities, and a compelling stage presence are just a few hallmarks of internationally acclaimed violinist, Timothy Chooi. As popular soloist, recitalist, and chamber musician, he is sought after for his wide-ranging and creative repertoire.
His recent engagements on the world stage include his debut at the Berlin Philharmonie, Toronto Symphony Orchestra, European tours with the Wiener Concert-Verein, Amsterdam's Royal Concertgebouw, Chicago Symphony Orchestra, and a collaboration with Anne-Sophie Mutter at Vienna’s Musikverein, and Paris’ Theatre Champs-Elysses to name a few.
With his wide-ranging international experience, Chooi is passionate about developing violin pedagogy and is a Professor of Violin at the University of Ottawa. He currently performs on the 1741 "Titan" Guarneri Del Gesu violin on loan from Québec's CANIMEX and the 1709 "Engleman" Stradivarius from the Nippon Music Foundation in Japan.
